​ZIM USA ​

Headquartered in Norfolk VA, ZIM USA consists of five districts – West Coast, Mid-West, North Atlantic, South Atlantic, and the Gulf. The company takes great pride in its personal service approach and accessibility, with clients able to work with all of ZIM's 5 districts and 2 shipping agencies (Glovis- Mobile, AL and  Global – Boston, MA ). 

ZIM USA offers 14 cargo services with weekly sailings from 11 different ports, including direct routes from the USA to the Mediterranean region, the Middle East, the Caribbean, South America, and Asia. It serves numerous ports around the globe via transshipments, including the main transshipment port of Kingston, Jamaica. The Norfolk, VA office also serves as the headquarters of the agencies for the Caribbean, and Canada.


Canada District

ZIM Canada​, headquartered in Montreal, consists of four full service offices – Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. It offers weekly fast sailings from Vancouver to the Far East and from Halifax to the Far East, Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Central America. The agency also provides transshipment services via Kingston, Jamaica – one of ZIM's largest transshipment hubs, which connects to the entire global network.

 

Caribbean District

ZIM's Caribbean district, headquartered in Miami and Kingston, oversees feeder connections to 40 ports in 30 countries covering the Caribbean Islands, Central America from Mexico to Panama, as well as the South American north coast from Colombia to Suriname. ZIM accepts all kinds of cargo including reefer and OOG to most of these destinations. A network of agents and ZIM offices represent the company locally to provide personalized shipping services to our clients.

 

South America District

The South America district includes the east coast countries of Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, with the district headquarters located in San Paulo, Brazil. Activities in this district are carried out in cooperation with two ZIM offices in Santos and Buenos Aires, and an additional five shipping agencies, covering 12 ports and more than 20 terminals. ZIM is currently ranked the 8th largest carrier in South America, and mainly focuses on the reefer trade, exporting approximately 10,000 reefers a year (30-40% of its total export).
