Nigerian CTN Requirement
we wish to inform you that the Nigerian Shippers council (NSC) is moving ahead with the implementation of the ACD/CTN.
A committee comprising of the Shippers Council, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria and Shipping Lines will be meeting next month to look into and address the concerns being raised by stakeholders.
While we await the outcome of the committee’s meetings, we strongly advise shippers to ensure that all cargo (Import & Export) be accompanied by an Entry Summary Number (ENS) or Exit Summary Number (EXS) at the point of submitting shipping instruction to ZIM agents at POL.
All relevant information on how to register and obtain ENS/EXS can be found on the website.
In instances where ENS/EXS cannot be obtained, we shall continue to accept bookings until further notice.
However, please note that shipments not covered by a valid ENS/EXS might incur fines in the future. At present, no penalties have been set for non-compliance as penalty levels are yet to be specified by the Shippers Council. However should this change we will notify you all as soon as possible.
We encourage you to contact ACD Nigeria directly via email to support@ctn-nigeria.com or call their help desk on +234 816 447 5255
for any technical support. You can also click on the ‘chat with us’ link available on the website to seek assistance with any of their available representatives. Please also advise us of any difficulties you experience in applying for ENS.
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact your local ZIM Customer Service who will be happy to assist
