Description
Main Purpose of the Role:
The employee will work in the Regional Logistics department and report to the Equipment Manager. This position requires strong excel proficiency to assist in cost analysis of empty equipment movement and empty forecasting. These cost analysis and forecasts are used to make business decisions on evacuations and positioning.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for gathering raw data and assembling the data into meaningful reports for management. Regularly compile company KPI’s and reports to support equipment team and district offices with day to day work processes. Identify areas in need of improvement and develop reports to increase efficiency. Subject Matter Expert for key logistic systems such as the Global Balancing Tool.
Main Tasks:
Responsible for analyzing cost and KPI’s within the region and address issues negatively impacting measurements.
Identify process improvements and work to implement changes with the responsible parties.
Perform quarterly equipment costs analysis for global business units.
Produce daily, weekly, & monthly Logistics reports such as stock reports, idling equipment, out to client containers, movement trends, and logistics expenses.
Coordinate yearly equipment reconciling within the area to ensure accurate stock counts in our electronic system.
Ability to troubleshoot and researching report solutions to for report compiling.
Support marketing, customer service, and district offices as needed to problem solve and review new potential new business.
Work with global logistics team to research idle equipment within the area.
Monitoring stock levels and looking for solutions to increase equipment efficiencies.
Assist US Equipment team with various duties in reports, domestic repositioning, street turn analysis, and adhoc reports.
Add and update depot rates in SAP system to ensure auto purchase orders can generate without discrepancies.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Excel—
o Basics- reporting, formatting, sorting, filtering, creating charts, graphs, and pivot tables.
o Intermediate to advanced experience with functions
