29 ZIM Magazine The Mobi le Sales Project is Hi t t ing the Road! Mobile CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is an exciting new tool designed for our sales teams' mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The target audience is ZIM’s sales force, including Account Owners, Sales Managers and Key Account Owners, in all ZIM CRM countries. This project represents the start of the ZIM digital revolution . Led by Ran Zadik , a project manager from IT, and Michal Ringel-Shacham , a project manager from Global Sales, the project is being sponsored by Oren Maor , Global Sales Division Manager, together with Gina Goldshmidt , Global SAP Division Manager, IT. When initiating this project, the Global Sales vision was to provide sales staff with mobile access to CRM and key reports in order to improve the customer's buying experience , increase sales force productivity , and shorten the sales cycle. These factors would allow sales teams to spend more time Global Sales and IT teams working together on the project The project's core objectives are to provide account owners with immediate access to relevant, up-to-date information (CRMand BI), such as crucial product and pricing data, during face-to-face meetings with customers, and with the ability to collect and update information easily.
