33 ZIM Magazine The Next Stage ZIM launched the ZIMonitor system in early 2015 as a unique, exclusive service for customers transporting expensive and sensitive cargo. It provides continuous monitoring and accessible information, alongside dedicated response teams to address problems and prevent damage. After the first successful trials with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, ZIMonitor was integrated into ZIM's regular services, and it continues to be further developed and improved. Today, we have customers using ZIMonitor in Israel, the US, India, China, Thailand, Canada, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Benelux. For example, in India, which is a significant force in the pharmaceutical industry, ZIM added a number of important clients this year, and made considerable sales development efforts for ZIMonitor. ZIMonitor is a response to a global trend in the pharmaceutical industry, which is gradually transitioning from air to sea transport. What distinguishes ZIM's service from the rest "ZIM went a long way to develop the right combination between the technical container and the service around it, and it is proving itself.
