4 ZIM Magazine Follow our CEO on Facebook! Autumn 2017 Dear ZIM Employees, I would like to wish you and your families a happy, fruitful new year. Firstly, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to ZIM's outgoing CEO, Rafi Danieli, for his longstanding and valuable contribution to ZIM. Since I began as CEO this past July, I have focused on becoming better acquainted with the company's employees worldwide, while gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges we face in the industry today. In initial meetings with ZIM's employees around the world, I have been emphasizing the critical need to press on at full speed with our efforts to lower costs, improve sales and customer service, and encourage creative ingenuity. Through our continued endeavors, I am fully certain that we will soon achieve our central goal – profitability. At the end of August, we published our second quarterly report of 2017, whose figures are decidedly encouraging.
