Dear ZIM Customer,
ZIM is very pleased to announce the latest upgrade to our ZIM Xpress Baltimore (ZXB)
service.
Effective from Zim Tampa, Voyage 7E (ETA Port Kelang on October 8), the ZXB service
will start calling Shanghai and Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico, prior to heading to the US East
Coast. This will enable to us to provide the fastest connection between Southeast Asia,
South China, and Shanghai to the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
ZXB will continue to provide the best connection from Southeast Asia and South China to
the Caribbean and Central America via our hub in Cartagena, Columbia (instead of
Kingston, Jamaica), offering our customers an improved service with higher reliability.
As a result of above changes, ZXB will no longer be calling Laem Chabang. We will
continue to serve export from Laem Chabang to US East Coast on our ZNF service, while
at other ports we will be providing a transshipment service connecting to our other US
East Coast and Gulf services.
The new ZXB rotation will be as follows:
Port Kelang – Cai Mep – Haiphong – Yantian – Kaohsiung – Shanghai – Lazaro Cardenas
– Cartagena – Baltimore – Norfolk – New York – Boston.
