国际海事组织（IMO）发布了实施《国际海上人命安全公约》（SOLAS公约）关于出口集装箱重量查核（Verified Gross Mass）的相关要求，规定要求自2016年7月1 日起，除非提单上的托运人向海运承运人且/或码头代表提供集装箱重量，否则集装箱不再允许装载。
新规定明确表示：
