Dr. Yoram Turbowicz has held a distinguished career across senior regulatory, executive, and board roles in the Israeli market over more than three decades. His most notable public sector leadership included serving as Head of the Israeli Competition Authority from 1992 to 1997, and the founder of its independent Authority, where he was recognized as a key regulator in advancing competition policy and enforcement. In business, he served as Deputy CEO and later CEO of Discount Investment Corporation from 1997 to 2001, and as The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Prime Minister from 2006 to 2008—positions that placed him at the center of economic and governmental strategy.​

He also chaired the boards of Azorim (2008–2012) and Delek Energy (2010–2012), and more recently led Discount Investment Corporation and Property and Building Corp as Chairman, while serving as a director at Cellecom Israel (2020–2021). Dr. Turbowicz continues to play a significant role at Allied Group and its subsidiary Champion Motors, where he is a longstanding active member of the board.​
